Rucola / Senapskål

A popular, tasty and exciting plant that is used in salads and various dishes. The taste is distinctive; spicy and slightly peppery. Can be grown outdoors or in pots. Can also be grown indoors all year round, but will have a milder flavor. Repeated sowing gives access to fresh lettuce for a long time. Harvest speared approx. 3-5 weeks after sowing and before flowering. Thrives best in moldy and well-drained soil that retains moisture. Water regularly. Cover with non-woven fabric to prevent attack by insect pests.
