Poppy somniferum

Sow directly on the growing site in warm soil in April-May. Spread the seeds evenly, or sow in rows and thin out if necessary. Sow in the fall for earlier flowering next year. Copes with dry and lean soil. Nice in groups or together with other summer flowers. Self-seeds readily and is suitable for the slightly wild garden.
